Banca Monte Dei Paschi di Siena is the oldest surviving bank in the world. It was founded in 1472 in the Tuscan city of Siena, which at the time was a republic.

The Daimler Reitwagen
The Daimler Reitwagen is widely considered as the world's first true motorcycle. Gottlieb Daimler is often referred to as “the father of the motorcycle” because of this invention and it was his son, Paul, who rode it for the first time in November 1885

Thomas Edison patented Electric Light Bulb first in 1879 and then a year later in 1880 and began commercializing his incandescent light bulb. Edison light bulbs, retroactively referred to as antique light bulbs, and vintage light bulbs, refer to carbon- or early tungsten-filament incandescent lamps, or modern bulbs reproducing their appearance. Most of these bulbs are reproductions of the wound filament bulbs made popular by Edison Electric Light Company at the turn of the 20th century. They are easily identified by the long and complicated windings of their internal filaments, and by the very warm-yellow glow of the light they produce.
